Downtown Los Angeles Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League is a nonprofit organization that helps with various community events. The groups helps with various community events such as the annual "Woman of the Year" event as well as the annual Holiday Cheer program to help with needy families. They also have a scholarship program for graduates of the ninth street elementary school.
